Langowan — In an effort to enhance the quality of vocational education and strengthen students’ competencies in the digital era, SMK Negeri 1 Langowan has formally requested support from the department through a lecturer of the Information and Communication Technology Education Study Program (PTIK), Dedi Sorongan, S.Pd., M.Pd, to serve as an Assessor for the Competency Skills Examination (UKK) as well as a speaker in the Educational and Inspirational Content Creation Workshop.
This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to providing education that is not only oriented toward technical competency achievement, but also toward strengthening creativity, communication skills, and students’ competitiveness amid the rapid development of information technology. The involvement of an academic who is also active in the digital creative space is considered highly relevant in providing enrichment for both students and educators.
Dedi Sorongan, S.Pd., M.Pd is widely recognized as a PTIK lecturer with a strong commitment to the development of digital literacy, learning media, and content creativity. In addition to his active role in academia, he is also known as the owner of the Manado EXpression channel, a platform that presents a variety of informative, educational, and inspirational content closely connected to the community.
Through this engagement, SMK Negeri 1 Langowan hopes that the implementation of the Competency Skills Examination (UKK) will be carried out more optimally, objectively, and professionally, while also providing students with direct insight into the competency standards required in the professional world. On the other hand, the workshop is expected to open new perspectives on how to create content that is not only visually appealing but also carries educational messages and inspirational values.
