The Student Association of the Department of Information and Communication Technology Education (HMJ PTIK), Faculty of Engineering, Manado State University, successfully held the HMJ PTIK CUP 2026 event, which was carried out lively and enthusiastically by both participants and spectators. This event became one of HMJ PTIK’s work programs aimed at developing creativity, skills, and sportsmanship among university and high school students through competitions in esports and creative media.
HMJ PTIK CUP 2026 featured several exciting competition categories, including Mobile Legends, Free Fire Battle Royale, Free Fire Clash Squad, and a Creative Video Competition with the theme of technological development. The event was attended by many participants from various groups of students who demonstrated their best abilities throughout the competitions and matches.
The series of activities began with the opening of registration on March 11, 2026. Afterward, the committee held a technical meeting on April 6, 2026, to explain the competition rules, tournament systems, and technical procedures to all participants. The matches and judging sessions were then conducted according to the schedule determined by the committee.
In the esports competitions, the atmosphere was highly competitive while still upholding the values of sportsmanship and teamwork. Participants demonstrated strategic skills, communication, and strong coordination in every match played. Meanwhile, in the Creative Video Competition, participants presented innovative and creative works that illustrated technological advancements in today’s digital era.
In addition to being a competition event, HMJ PTIK CUP 2026 also served as a platform to strengthen relationships among students, increase solidarity, and provide positive experiences in organization and healthy competition. The enthusiasm of the participants and the support from spectators further enlivened the entire series of activities, which ran smoothly and orderly.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the hard work of the HMJ PTIK committee, the support from the faculty, sponsors, and all participants who contributed to making the event successful. The committee also expressed appreciation and gratitude to everyone who helped ensure that the event ran well from beginning to end.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, HMJ PTIK CUP 2026 was officially closed through a closing ceremony held in a spirit of togetherness and gratitude. During the ceremony, the committee announced the winners of each competition category and presented prizes to the champions. The closing ceremony became a memorable final moment as well as a symbol of the success of the entire HMJ PTIK CUP 2026 series.
Through this event, HMJ PTIK hopes that HMJ PTIK CUP will continue to become a positive annual program that encourages creativity, competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and the development of young people’s potential, especially in the fields of technology, esports, and creative media in the future.
