Manado, February 27, 2026 - The Information and Communication Technology Education (PTIK) Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA), has officially conducted an Accreditation Site Assessment held over two days, from February 26 to February 27, 2026. This activity marks an important moment for the study program to demonstrate the quality of its technology-based education at the national level.
Comprehensive Evaluation of Academic Quality
The assessment team assigned by the national accreditation body visited UNIMA to carry out direct verification and validation of all aspects of the PTIK Study Program. The evaluation covered multiple quality dimensions, including human resources, curriculum aligned with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), learning facilities and infrastructure, as well as student academic achievements and graduate employability.
In addition, the assessors reviewed accreditation documents and conducted interviews with lecturers, administrative staff, active students, alumni, and industry partners who have collaborated with the study program.

The Head of the PTIK Study Program, Dr. Arje Cerullo Djamen, S.T., M.T., stated that this accreditation process reflects the collective effort of the entire academic community that has been carefully prepared.
"This site assessment is not merely an administrative evaluation. It reflects our commitment to delivering quality, relevant, and competitive technology education. We are optimistic that all achievements we have built together, in academics, research, and community service, will be well recognized," said Dr. Arje.
He also emphasized that improving the accreditation status is a key objective, as it directly impacts public trust, student interest, and opportunities for broader institutional collaboration.
PTIK UNIMA Focused on Developing Future Technology Educators
The PTIK Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering UNIMA is dedicated to preparing professional educators in the field of information and communication technology who possess both technical competence and strong teaching character. Graduates are expected to meet the demand for ICT teachers at secondary schools and contribute to the development of the technology ecosystem, particularly in North Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesia.
In recent years, the program has continuously improved by strengthening its industry-oriented curriculum, enhancing faculty qualifications through further studies and scientific publications, and expanding partnerships with educational institutions and technology companies.

The implementation of this site assessment has received full support from the Faculty of Engineering and Universitas Negeri Manado. All facilities and supporting documents were prepared to provide a comprehensive overview to the assessment team.
