The Department of Information and Communication Technology Education (PTIK), Faculty of Engineering, held the PTIK Department Christmas Service 2025 on Thursday, December 19, 2025, at the PTIK Building, 2nd Floor. The service began at 09:00 WITA and was led by Dr. Efraim Moningkey, S.T., M.T. as the preacher. The theme of the service was “Connected by Grace”, inviting the entire academic community to strengthen unity and love through God’s grace.
This worship activity was prepared by a committee formed by the PTIK Student Association (HMJ PTIK) and carried out in collaboration with students enrolled in Religion courses. This collaboration reflects a strong sense of togetherness and synergy between student organizations and the academic community within the PTIK Department.
The event began with a welcome speech by the Secretary of the PTIK Department, Dr. Olivia Liando, S.T., M.Sc., M.Pd., followed by a solemn and joyful worship service. The atmosphere was further enhanced by well-organized decorations and liturgical services involving the MC, Worship Leader, singers, and keyboard player who served with dedication.
The PTIK Department Christmas Service was attended by the PTIK Department leadership, lecturers and students of PTIK, lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, as well as the Faculty of Engineering leadership, including the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Hendro M. Sumual, S.T., M.Eng., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Irene R.H.T. Tangkawarouw, S.T., MISD, and Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Chrisant F. Lotulung, S.Pd., M.Si..
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering expressed appreciation for the organization of the PTIK Christmas Service as a meaningful moment to strengthen spiritual values and togetherness within the academic environment. The remarks were followed by the Head of the PTIK Department, Dr. Arje C. Djamen, S.T., M.T., who welcomed the faculty leaders and expressed gratitude to the Christmas committee and all students who contributed to the success of the event. On this occasion, the Head of Department also invited all PTIK students to join in singing praises together.
The series of activities concluded with a gift exchange session and door prize distribution, prepared by the committee, further strengthening the sense of togetherness and the joy of Christmas within the PTIK Department.
Through the implementation of this Christmas Service, it is hoped that the entire academic community of the PTIK Department will be strengthened in faith, unity, and a spirit of service, in line with the theme “Connected by Grace.”
