VISION AND MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION
The leadership of Meilany Kumaat, who previously served as Secretary General of HMJ PTIK in the prior period, brings renewed energy in leading the organization.
The vision being carried forward is "To establish HMJ PTIK as a communicative, supportive, and progressive platform in voicing student aspirations, shaping a generation that is excellent and has strong character, and strengthening the existence of the department both internally and externally."
This vision will be realized through five main missions:
- Providing an open and responsive platform for students to actively express their aspirations, opinions, and needs.
- Building solidarity and togetherness through effective communication and participatory, inclusive activities.
- Supporting and facilitating the development of student potential in both academic and non-academic fields through sustainable programs.
- Encouraging cadre development that shapes responsible, courageous, and committed individuals.
- Enhancing the presence of HMJ PTIK and the PTIK Department through creative, innovative programs oriented toward collaboration and sustainability.
REMARKS AND EXPECTATIONS
Following the inauguration ceremony marked by the symbolic handover from the previous board to the newly appointed one, the Chairperson, Meilany Kumaat, delivered a brief address. In her message, she expressed gratitude and hope for the newly inaugurated leadership.
"We, the newly appointed board, are a tangible result of the efforts and hard work of our predecessors who have nurtured a new generation to continue the leadership of HMJ PTIK," she stated.
She also invited all members of the organization to regard this inauguration as the beginning of a shared journey.
"Let us make this inauguration the first step in our collective process. Hopefully, in the upcoming period, we can support one another, collaborate effectively, and maintain strong coordination among us."
As a closing remark, Meilany emphasized the commitment of the new board to carry out their responsibilities with full dedication.
"Moving forward, we will carry out all duties and responsibilities to the best of our ability to realize our slogan, From Terus Melangkah Menuju Kejayaan to Bersama Menuju Kejayaan."
CLOSING
With renewed spirit, HMJ PTIK Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Manado for the 2025–2026 period is expected to translate its vision of being Communicative, Supportive, and Progressive into concrete programs that positively impact students. This step is essential for the organization to actively serve as a driving force for innovation, creativity, and synergy, supporting the development of PTIK UNIMA graduates who are competitive and ready to face the challenges of the digital era.
